What’s your previous experience in the industry?

I have over 10 years of experience in the tourism industry, but what truly excites me is the healthy and sports-oriented environment. I enjoy organizing experiences that enable people to explore destinations actively and healthily, whether through outdoor activities, thrilling excursions, or sports events.

What do you see as your key skills?

Being fortunate to have a multicultural background, hailing from Belgium, and with my roots extending to Greece, I have gained a deep appreciation for cultural and culinary diversity. Living in the beautiful Canary Islands of Spain has further enriched my perspective on life and tourism. It is also important to mention that I have a profound love for animals and a commitment to nature preservation. Apinya is an artistic, seasoned graphic designer based in KhonKaen, Thailand, with a profound passion for art and design. She has a keen eye for detail and is eager to continuously enhance her creativity while spreading joy through her work. Her skills extend from industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Blender, used to create 3D assets. Additionally, she has extensive experience using Figma to craft wireframes as a UX/UI designer.

What’s your previous experience in the industry?

I have over 10 years of experience across hospitality, sports, and health and wellness tourism, with the past 8 years spent working for Thanyapura Sports and Health Resort. That time has given me plenty of opportunities to hone my skills, and I love to coordinate and organise group stays and support organisers with the planning and logistics of their training camps.

What do you see as your key skills?

I’d say one of my real specialisms is paying attention to each individual customer. This enables me to build an in-depth understanding of their needs, and with my personal interest in the sports and health and wellness industries I feel well placed to support our active clients. I also have expertise in sales and group travel, and I love helping to ensure camps run as smoothly as possible.

What’s your previous experience in the industry?

I gained a huge range of experience through working with international sport groups during six years with Thanyapura Sports and Health Resort. I love working with all different clients and ensuring they have the best experience – that’s my mission.

What do you see as your key skills?

Whether it’s for swimming, tennis, triathlons, football, fitness, you name it – I love planning, organising and selling different camps and events. My skills in event logistics mean I’m super useful when it comes to supporting operational teams with their sales and bookings.

How did your career in sports begin?

I started out in the Canary Islands where I was involved in the planning and development of Playitas Resort, now one of Europe’s leading Sports Resorts. After 10 years at Playitas, I was recruited by Thanyapura Sports and Health Resort in Phuket, Thailand as the Director of Sports and later as Director of International Business Development and CRM.

What do you see as your key skills in the industry?

I have a proven record of creating solid international relationships across Europe, SEA and APAC. My specialities are strategy, sports management and operations, health and wellness operations, international sales and marketing, partnerships, group sales and training camp organisation including logistics. I’ve got a university degree in Tourism Management and speak several languages. I also have a strong moral compass, which extends from really caring about doing things right to unbridled love for my four rescue dogs (they’ve been with me every step of the way with Vigeo so are part of the team!)
