Nadina Zarifeh is a former competitive swimmer with deep expertise in both coaching and swim instruction. Ranked among the top 3 nationally, she competed internationally despite a fractured back, ultimately being forced to retire due to the injury. With over 25 years of experience since starting in 1997, Nadina transitioned from coaching competitive swimmers to specializing in the learn-to-swim realm, where she revamped the upper-level curriculum for one of Canada’s top private swim schools. Her approach blends a keen understanding of high-performance swimming with a commitment to building foundational skills. Alongside her husband, Olympic Medalist Brent Hayden, she co-leads swim clinics and the Freestyle Transformation Experience, sharing her passion and knowledge with swimmers of all levels.
